I was on an Air Transat ride from Montreal to Vancouver. They dimmed the cabin to ease sleeping, and the plane was awash with a lovely peach-sky blue gradient. This colour palette, along with being in the air, inspired this piece. I wanted to translate the atmosphere and feeling of this tranquil moment, with 50s radio tunes crackling away in the background.
