Our State is the official monthly publication of North Carolina. The Book Club section features a different local author and one of their works in every issue. As the current resident artist of this section since 2024, I have the pleasure of creating the accompanying illustrations for the monthly write-up based on the book. Here are the highlights from 2026.
Beneath The Moon And The Long Dead Stars by Daniel Wallace
The Saddest Girl On The Beach by Charlotte McConnell
The Star of Camp Greene by Joy Callaway
The Christie Affair by Nina de Gramont
Evil Eye by Etaf Rum
Good Women by Halle Hill
